weird thingy heart shaped ammonite orthoceras. This listing is forONE fossil . This is a fossil ammonite: orthoceras . While some ammonites have round coiled shells , this type had long lengthwise coiled shells. This one has been cut and polished into a heart shape. The fossil is visible front and sometimes even on the back ( front side showed in photo only ) . This is a weird thing ! Most are 1 1/4 " tall x 1 3/8" wide x 1/4" thick but some as you can tell from the picture , are smaller or larger . This is afer all , a natural fossil plus each one is hand cut , so natural variation is to be expected . If you want a smaller or bigger one then include a note with your payment & I will try to oblige you ( if you send an email or message seperate from the payment , I wont see it when I am packing ) . I suppose this could be wirewrapped , or carried around in your pocket , or ................? ? ? ? Actually , a school teacher wrote in and said this was a neat thing to show her grade school students as an introduction to fossils . I have a good many of these and will send you a nice one .
